Dr. David Prior is a highly skilled, board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in spine surgery. He is now part of AZBSC Spine and Orthopedics, where he specializes in providing expert care for a wide range of spine conditions.
Dr. Prior’s interest in orthopedics and medicine began early, leading him to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Michigan State University with a degree in Medical Technology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Western Michigan University School of Medicine, which he completed in 2015. His advanced fellowship training in spine surgery was completed at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California.
Throughout his career, Dr. Prior has gained extensive experience treating complex spine conditions, including back and neck pain, disc degeneration, herniated discs, spinal fractures, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, and spinal tumors. He is also skilled in minimally invasive techniques, revision surgeries, and other reconstructive spine procedures.
When not seeing patients, Dr. David Prior enjoys staying active through tennis, golf, and fishing.
